A legendary, long bump run

While Heavenly is most famous for its tree skiing, Gunbarrel is one of the most famous mogul runs in the country.

Slushy on warm days and icy on cold ones, perhaps the most challenging characteristic of Gunbarrel is it's length… nearly 2000 vertical feet of unforgiving and (seemingly) big bumps.

Looking to prove your level of insanity? In late March of each year, the Gunbarrel 25 contest (hosted by Glen Pake himself) challenges participants to complete 25 laps of the run in one day.

To get here, hop off the tram and turn towards the lake.

Alternatively, scout your line on the way up the Gunbarrel Express chair.

If your legs are shot after a long day and you need to get down to the California base, don't forget that you can take the winding, easy Round-A-Bout run down or download the Gunbarrel chair.
