Flat Iron is steep open alpine run that descends into glades near the top of Mt.

Crested Butte.

Flat Iron is accessed by traversing across Upper Peel from the Silver Queen.

Though the traverse can be rocky, it is a good indicator for how Flat Iron will be skiing.

When you hit it right, Flat Iron can be one of the most memorable runs on the mountain, with incredible views, playful bumps, and steep glades.

Flat Iron ends after it is funneled into Peel, Forest, and Hockey Rink, and you begin your traverse back to the base.

From Peel you can also take the Luge, which crosses to Aspen Park Road and then International.
