One of the most popular runs in Mayrhofen is the 14, a long, spacious and well kept slope at the foot of the surrounding mountains.
From the top of the Tappenalm lift, this piste is a bit steep for skiers with a snowplough turning technique, but the run is gets easier once you've skied past the restaurants.
It is one straight white line down.
Be careful at the finish, where skiers from different sides and angles head for the ski lifts.
Except for skiing alongside the Tappenalm lift, it is possible to ski the 14 alongside the Mittertrett lift as well.
This slope is a bit shorter than the other, but it is wide, gentle and less known.
An excellent piste for intermediates to practice their snowplough steering technique or just to enjoy a cruisy run towards the lifts at the opposite side of the valley.
