A piste on farmer's land.

You should see this slope in summer.

Meadows filled with wild flowers, cows chewing herbs and an occasional hut where hikers drink milk.

Even in winter, some of this remoteness remains with piste 48.

The start is at the back of the Katzenmoos lift, or at the top of the Finkenberg II lift.

In any case, the steep pyramidal slope is broad and wavy, and the snow sometimes has this unkempt feel to it.

Especially in the last section, after piste 47 separates to the right-hand side, good edging and sliding skills are required, as the piste can be quite icy or slushy, particularly in the spring.

The finish is at the bottom of the Finkenberg lift.
