Description

Hanging Valley, the run furthest south in Big Sky skiing this run is like skiing on a glacier.

Depending on snow levels for the year this run can be peoples favorite or least favorite.

If there is a couple freeze thaw cycles early in the year it can help build the base and cover the rocks it can be amazing skiing especially on a powder day, however, this area is a giant rock field, so if it is low snow year finding lines through the rocks can be tricky.

Best skied in the spring, but really this run is a toss up for best time of year.
