FATMAP difficulty grade
Le Fou is a beautiful isolated peak between the Vallon d'Arby and the Hidden Valley.
The North Couloir is a steep and serious line for experienced skiers only.
From the summit of Le Fou, follow the North West (Crete des Mounins) ridge until around c2400m where you can identify the entrance to the couloir.
The line is committing and there is serious avalanche risk on the face.
You should be very sure about the avalanche conditions before starting down the line.
At the end of the couloir you rejoin the end of the Hidden Valley and take the path back to Prarion.
