Innsbruck Seegrube – Hafelekar
The northern chain of Innsbruck has been developed for tourism since the early 1930s and has become a real myth. The area can essentially be divided into three main descents (Karrinne, Seilbahnrinne and Langes Tal), whereby only the latter is described in detail here, as the other two logical lines follow from the Hafelekar mountain station into the Seegrube. The high alpine terrain near the city is really worth an excursion, although the experience is only somewhat spoiled by the long rides with the gondola lift. A worthwhile destination, especially for steep channel beginners, because the channels can be viewed from below before the ride.
