A challenging " blue" run, an oddly demanding run.

Lightning Rod is one option to avoid The Last Spike for its final section above Revelation Lodge.

However, unless there is deep fresh snow and you're first to get there, Lightning Rod is steep enough and has enough hazards to warrant a black diamond at times.

After you leave the cat-track and enter the first mogul field, a series of gullies push you off the fall-line and give the whole run an awkward feel.

After trending right the run merges with Critical Path and opens up a bit more just above the lodge.

This requires a deep snow pack to be real fun, as many logs and stumps lurk below during many parts of the season.

In this case, The Last Spike is a better option often times, even for an advanced skier or rider.
