The Powder Monkey Glades are skier's right of the Ripper Chair, between Chopper and the lift line run, Denver Dollars.

These glades have been thinned out, and offer great practice for somewhat steeper gladed skiing with plenty of spots to exit the glades and rejoin one of the aforementioned open runs.

The glades can be scoped from the Ripper Chair, looking to your climber's left, and conditions can then be assessed.

With new snow these are a dream with widely spaced trees and relatively consistent fall-line.

With hard or icy conditions, especially late in the season, the moguls and trees present some real challenges.

There are some small cliffs - look before you leap.
