The exposure grade describes the potential consequences of falling or slipping off the path.
Low Exposure: The path is on completely flat land and potential injury is limited to falling over.
Medium Exposure: The trail contains some obstacles such as outcroppings and rock which could cause injury.
High Exposure: Some trail sections have exposed ledges or steep ascents/descents where falling could cause serious injury.
Extreme Exposure: Some trail sections are extremely exposed where falling will almost certainly result in serious injury or death.
This continues in nature similar to that of the upper.
It is a fast technical trail with loose rock, chunky drops and burly rock slabs.
The start of this trail is signposted by a large step-down which can be launched (scout first).
The following feature is a rowdy double (which can be ridden around) before you hit a few rock rolls which go pretty well with speed.
The treed section which follows offers off-cambered tricky rock and root sections before you exit onto the Heart of Darkness.
