The exposure grade does not take into account objective hazards (stone fall, seracs, etc) but only the consequences of the skier falling.
Low Exposure (E1): Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
Medium Exposure (E2): As well as the slope itself, there are some obstacles (such as rock outcrops) which could aggravate injury.
High Exposure (E3): In case of a fall, death is highly likely.
Extreme Exposure (E4): In case of a fall, the skier faces certain death.
The signposted route of Superdévoluy starts at the Cros ski lift to reach the top of the Jas chairlift, i.
420 m of vertical drop for a duration of 2 hours. From the Crot ski lift, you will go up the Grindstone slope on the right.
The route will pass near the cross-country ski slopes before joining the Joue du Loup route.
Continue your ascent in parallel of the combe des cheeses, you will pass near the Twin Chorums then the Round Chorum.
You will follow the altisurface on the left before arriving at the Jas chairlift.
