POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 3 - Panorama

Stubaier Gletscher
393 m42°43 m1.7 km
The name Panorama is not a coincidence, as during the whole descent one has a great view to the ski area. Ideal terrain for driving in in the morning and to get an overview of the other Powder Department Runs.

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 2a - Highway II

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 14 - The Wildspitz

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 14 - The Wildspitz

Stubaier Gletscher
328 m40°0 m1.1 km
At the latest now is the end of funny! Immediately after the station from zero to hundred or 45 degrees steepness! Falling is no longer healthy in such terrain - here you have to stand really clean on the edge, and if you are not 100% sure when entering, you should rather choose the bypass (see track book), which also has its charm.

Stubaier Gletscher - Gamsgartenrinne

Stubaier Gletscher
597 m46°8 m2.7 km
The descent can be roughly divided into two sections. In the beginning it leads over simple, rocky terrain, next to the winter hiking trail, to the mountain station of the old double chair lift "Gamgarten". Then it goes into a spectacular channel which is spanned by a net.

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 12 - Hidden Valley

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 12 - Hidden Valley

Stubaier Gletscher
347 m36°16 m1.6 km
As the name suggests, the run is a bit hidden - not without reason you have to accept a 10-minute hike. But - assuming the right conditions - it is worth the short effort!

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 13 - Cannonball

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 13 - Cannonball

Stubaier Gletscher
591 m40°2 m2.5 km
The name says it all: first you start with a nice jib area, before you drive into the cannon barrel. Impressive, steep channel that spits you out just before the piste. You feel like a human cannonball.

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 4 - North Face

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 4 - North Face

Stubaier Gletscher
378 m36°3 m1.5 km
It's more serious here, because rocky terrain requires considerations about the route. Quite varied with narrow channels and smaller drops.

POWDER DEPARTMENT RUN 7 - l'Ultimo

Stubaier Gletscher

THE line that will catch the eye of any freerider first thing in the morning on the ascent. Long run, which makes certain demands on stamina and skiing technique - not to be underestimated in terms of avalanche technique!

Stubaier Gletscher – Lange Ried

Stubaier Gletscher – Lange Ried

Stubaier Gletscher
588 m33°2 m2.1 km
The actual descent starts in the area of the Dresdner Hütte (2300m). In order not to have to ascend from the middle station "Fernau" (approx. 20hm), you drive up to the mountain station "Gamsgarten" and reach the Dresdner Hütte via piste no. 3 without ascent. Then it goes over great free slopes to the left of the cable cars to the valley station. The "long Ried" is a bit easier than the "Zirmkopf" descent, which is also presented and runs almost parallel.

Stubaier Gletscher – Zirmkopf

Stubaier Gletscher – Zirmkopf

Stubaier Gletscher
559 m38°22 m2.4 km
From the middle station, a very interesting alternative leads down to the valley to the right of the cable car tracks. In the vicinity of rocks and the gorge of the Fernaubach, well-mobile slopes lead over many steps to the valley station. The "Zirmkopf" is more difficult than the "long Ried" descent, which is also presented and runs almost parallel.

Top variant in one of the quietest corners of the area. At first it looks rather bland, but then a steep slope is waiting (Attention: entrance a good 40 degrees steep - note the danger of avalanches!). Long powder guaranteed by exposure.
