Analysing terrain data
The exposure grade does not take into account objective hazards (stone fall, seracs, etc) but only the consequences of the skier falling.
Low Exposure (E1): Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
Medium Exposure (E2): As well as the slope itself, there are some obstacles (such as rock outcrops) which could aggravate injury.
High Exposure (E3): In case of a fall, death is highly likely.
Extreme Exposure (E4): In case of a fall, the skier faces certain death.
From the arrival of the cable car (Funifor Indren) traverse to the right heading east for five minutes to reach the arrival of the old Punta Indren cable car station.
Go up behind it to reach the Bors side.
A diagonal slope leads to a wide valley.
Keep skiing in the middle of the valley, leaving the Balma classic on the right and enter into a large gully.
Traverse to the left, near an obvious rocky buttress (Dente Bors with an old pylon).
Look for a short and narrow couloir which allows access to the wide slope below.
At the bottom of the slope rejoin the Balma classic.
