Description

Colman’s Retreat is located off to the skier’s left of the Sierra lift.

This is a great black with rolling pitches and tree islands.

This area of the mountain is usually touched last since it cannot be skied again without riding two chairs.

Head over here on a powder day and you will be rewarded.

When it’s windy over here, stay away since it’s wide open.

The advanced intermediate will like this when it’s groomed, and probably not when it’s not.

Check the grooming report.

This is another excellent place on a powder day to learn powder because there are a couple of good steeper pitches but then flat areas to give you a break. You have to take the Timberline Express back up and then traverse back to the Sierra if you want to do this one again.
