Analysing terrain data
Lower Stein, is the continuation of Upper Stein, located at the bottom of the green circle called Nugget.
The first section is steep as you drop in from the cat track.
There are moguls everywhere, the snow is always firm and there is no escape.
Once you drop in, you're committed to five or six turns in difficult snow down to the next cat track.
Here, many skiers head to the right, taking the cat track back over to Upper Jerome, but the more daring skier will continue fall line into the next section of bumps and natural features.
Here, depending on the time of year, you'll find that most moguls are at the top, with the bottom being more fun and open.
A few natural jumps can also be found on the skier's left.
