Analysing terrain data
A rarely opened black run, but on its days is one of the best runs you'll find.
Serviced by its own drag lift, this run is a classic semi wide black run, which rolls and undulates with the natural contours on the La Capa Mountain.
When its groomed it's pretty much a up and down run with no left or right twists.
However this run is rarely groomed and is usually left to its own devices, and is often hiked into by the intrepid skiers and snowboarders of Arinsal.
For most of the season La Capa is treated more like a freeride zone, offering multiple options for lines all over its north face.
The most technical lines are found skiers right, through a super difficult cliff band which needs serious scopping from below before riding into it.
Be aware, far skiers right is the resort boundary so don't stray to far if you want to be rescued under the normal conditions of resort rescue.
As it's north facing this area is hardly sun affected however the wind can really blow across this magnificent mountain.
