Description

The Chamois is probably the most challenging black run in the Grand Massif, apart from the Diamant Noir in Flaine.

Starting from the Dahu run at the top of the Tête des Saix, it immediately launches you into a steep, scratchy, stony and icy slope which continues to be just as challenging all the way down.

Many have tumbled down here, and once you start you generally don't stop, so it's truly for experts only! As it's exposed, when there is no visibility it is very easy to become disorientated, but there are fabulous views on the way down when it's clear.
