Analysing terrain data
A uniform south facing run which maintains the same angle of slope all the way down.
It can be lusciously lovely, can be massively mogully, can be sloppily slushy, can be incredibly icy (first thing!) - it's a changeling of a piste.
A piste machine path cuts across near the bottom creating a step where one can take 'lift' - keep a look out for skiers using this path as a way to stay high towards the off piste to the right of the Portet! And those accessing the Corbalanche chair.
