Accessed from the tricky Faust run, the Almandine is marked out on a ridged part of the mountain.
Take care to stay on piste as the off piste here is very dangerous unless you are with a trained guide.
Quite mogully in parts, it runs in reasonably gently to the Diamant Noir crossroads where there is a meeting of four pistes in a mini-bowl, and then exits the other side to continue as what was once a continuation of the black Diamant Noir to Flaine Centre (Forum).
A long piste with a natural mid-length rest point, and which occasionally runs alongside a cliff to the right on the bottom half with mogul fields before entering into the trees.
Pretty steep at the bottom before joining the green Épicéa piste which runs across it.
Restaurant just up to the right of this Épicéa piste.
