Description

Hikers Paradise also known as Hikers Ridge might be the best part about Lake Louise.

A giant ridge that is maintained and under supervision, but offers a truly gnarly experience.

Head up the Summit Platter and head left off the chair down Boomerang and look for the Hikers Paradise path on your left hand side.

Pack up and head up the ridge.

The great thing about Upper Boomerang is that you can choose your line anywhere in this large bowl.

Once you have found your entry, drop below the cornice into the bowl.

The first pitch is very steep, but then mellows into a perfect bowl with great powder.

There can be strong winds here, but you are usually in the sun.

Descend into the valley and meet up the cat track to the Paradise Chair for seconds or down to the Ptarmigan or Larch Chairs to further explore the backside.

The Ptarmigan also takes you back to the Front Side.
