Description

Jug Handle is a true black diamond jewel off the Killington Peak area, going into South Ridge.

To access this trail, take the K1 Gondola to the top and get on to Great Northern and stay to skier’s right.

Take your first right onto Blue Heaven.

Be careful not to take the far right trail Juggernaut.

Pass Solitude on skier’s right and proceed straight onto The Jug (upper).

The trail is pretty wide open with all natural snow.

When the coverage is good, this is an excellent choice if you don’t want to deal with the crowds.

This is in the old South Ridge area that had an old chairlift.

You may see remnants of the old towers/bases.

Stay to skier’s right and look for Jug Handle on the right.

This will only be open if there is enough snow coverage.

When it is open, this is a killer mogul run with all natural snow.

This trail gets varied light and is perfect for people looking for an awesome and quiet black diamond trail with bumps.
