Analysing terrain data
Bear Cub is a very long green beginner trail off the South Ridge basin all the way down to Sunrise Village and Bear Mountain base areas.
The best way to access this trail is to take the Skyeship Stage II Gondola to the top and exit the gondola to skier’s left.
Get on to Great Eastern and stay to skier’s right.
Then get on to Gateway and stay to skier’s right.
After you pass the connection to Roundabout on skier’s right, go right on to Bear Cub.
This is a confusing intersection, so be alert for traffic.
To continue the whole way down to Sunrise Village, stay on Bear Cub to the left.
This is a fun and long adventure ride down to the intersection of Juggernaut Too and Bear View.
Stay to skier’s LEFT to stay on Bear Cub.
Continue on and be alert to expert traffic entering off from Devil’s Fiddle to skier’s left.
This will dump out at the Bear Mountain base area.
This trail gets varied light and is perfect for people looking for a very long green run that connects from the South Ridge basin area to Sunrise Village and Bear Mountain base area.
