Analysing terrain data
Dream Maker is an excellent blue intermediate landing at the Bear Mountain base area.
To access this location either take the Skyeship Gondola Stage II out of the Needle’s Eye area or the Skye Peak Express Quad out of Bear Mountain (which is the best choice if you want to avoid a black diamond run).
Exit the lift to the left and proceed down Skye Burst and stay on skier’s left.
Go left at the second catwalk then turn right onto The North Way.
If you take the gondola and want to get the black diamond run Dream Maker Head Wall, then head to the left after you unload and take Great Eastern to to the top of the Skye Peak Express Quad and look for the entrance of the Dream Maker Headwall.
Proceed down that until it merges with The North Way after the second catwalk on the left.
Continue straight if you want to end up at Bear Mountain Base.
NOTE: You will go through the Dream Maker Terrain Park rated with medium to large obstacles.
You can definitely catch some big air in here.
This section of the trail was once used as a boarder cross track.
It is super fun.
Take a sharp turn to the right after you have exited the terrain park to stay on Dream Maker and avoid the super pipe.
You can then choose to either merge on to Skye Burst (lower), or get back on to Dream Maker and head down to the base at Bear.
If you want to enter the super pipe, keep to the left after you exit the terrain park.
In general, this trail takes a while to open as it is in the Bear area which is the last area to open for the season at Killington.
This trail gets varied light.
Perfect for people looking for a variety of good cruising options which take them to a challenging terrain park and down the Bear Mountain base area.
