Analysing terrain data
Home Stretch is a very long blue intermediate trail which starts at Dream Maker and lands on Great Eastern in the Skyeship Stage I base area.
To access this location, either take the Skyeship Gondola Stage II out of the Needle’s Eye area, or the Skye Peak Express Quad out of Bear Mountain (the best choice if you want to avoid a black diamond run).
Exit the lift to the left and proceed down Skye Burst and stay on skier’s left.
Go left at the second catwalk and then turn right onto The North Way.
If you take the gondola then proceed down to Skye Burst, staying on skier’s left.
Go left at the second catwalk, then turn right onto The North Way.
Continue straight through the Dream Maker Terrain Park which has medium to large obstacles.
You can definitely catch some big air in here.
This section of the trail was once used as a boarder cross track.
It is super fun.
After you exit the terrain park, stay to skier’s left before turning left on to Home Stretch.
(NOTE: The only way to bail from ending at the base of Skyeship Stage I base area is to go left on to Northbrook Crossover into the Needle’s eye basin.) Proceed past the turns for both Northbrook Crossover and Carpenter’s Run.
This is a very long run which merges with Great Eastern in two spots.
After you cross over East Mountain Road, the trail will end on Great Eastern and soon dumps out at the Base of Skyeship Stage I on Route 4.
This trail gets low light.
Perfect for people looking for a really long run from the middle of Skye Peak all the way down to Skyeship Stage I base area.
