Low Rider is a marked black tree run that is extremely popular on the Snowdon Mountain side of Killington.
To access this location, you need to take the Snowdon Quad from the base.
The Snowdon Quad is a long and extremely slow ride up.
So, prepare for that.
Exit the lift either to the left or to the right.
If you exit left, continue on as if you are heading towards Chute.
When you get to your first trail crossing take a SHARP LEFT and STOP.
The entrance to Low Rider is right there and is easy to miss.
It is easier to enter this tree run by exiting the lift to the right.
When you do that continue as if you are heading straight for Northstar and take a right turn on a little access catwalk.
You will see the entrance to Low Rider.
This tree run is magnificent.
You really can not go wrong.
As always, use caution when navigating through this as there are a lot of fallen trees and roots.
If you stay straight for a while, you will eventually have to go to the left or right as there's a brook and a steep ledge.
If you start drifting to the right towards the top, you will definitely hit a great snowfield within the glades.
If you go left towards the top, you will find better untracked powder but the trees are a bit tighter.
This is DEFINITELY a tree run to do on a powder day.
A perfect advanced trail for people looking for an awesome tree run that is big and that has a lot to pick from without the fear of going outside the resort boundaries.
