This is one of several high quality red runs that makes its way down through Monêtier’s larch forests.

If you’re not concentrating you can easily find yourself taking a wrong turn onto another red run, but it won't matter as they are all good.

Corvaria is the one that cuts a more or less straight line through the forest, following the Lauzières chairlift.

It is all natural snow, which is good in many ways but means it can get a bit patchy towards the end of the season.

It is also probably the narrowest of the red forest runs in this sector.

But it’s still a lovely slope so check it out before going back up the Bachas chairlift and comparing it with the others.
