A satisfying red run that plunges from the highest point in Serre Chevalier.

Analysing terrain data

Your starting point for this run is the highest in Serre Chevalier at 2800 metres.

If it gets a little cold on the way up the Yret chairlift then this run is the perfect way to warm up again.

As the highest run in the resort the snow is generally very good, although on occasion it can get scoured by the wind to very hard-packed.

An appropriately steep start (for a red run) gradually mellows, before flattening out significantly.

After the flat section there’s another steeper slope with a gentle run out where you regularly see people temporarily giving up on their turns and enjoying the thrill of going fast and straight in relative safety, given the long run out in which to slow down.

One more steep section awaits and then you head left back towards the Monêtier lifts, or right to the Cucumelle and Villeneuve.
