Analysing terrain data
Tabuc is a long and snaking black run that feels like it takes you on a long journey outside the boundaries of the resort.
As it winds its way down through the forest it is enjoyable and cruisy enough for you to be able to take in the beautiful surroundings for most of its length, but then reminds you why it’s graded black with a steep, narrow and mogully section that has a sudden sharp turn at the bottom for added difficulty.
Without this unforgiving section it would feel more like a red run but as you can’t avoid it, Tabuc is right up there with the toughest of Serre Chevalier’s black runs.
It’s also right up there with the most enjoyable runs the resort has to offer.
There’s also great tree skiing either side of the piste but the route finding isn't straightforward and if you stray too far off course there are cliffs and other terrain traps lurking.
