Sampson holds a similar gradient to Comstock, getting slightly steeper away from the lift, yet he's never groomed, creating some large moguls which can present a challenge for those looking to try to ski moguls for the first time.
Leading away from the peak of Pioneer, this long run can be fairly tiring for early mogul-ers, he can also get a bit icy when he catches the sun for a while in the spring, so take care on him, he does get a little angsty.
On a powder day however he really comes into his own, so make sure to check him when he's got he's powdered his nose.
