Analysing terrain data
Jordanelle is a classic long challenging double blue run.
From the top of the Jordanelle Gondola, or Mountaineer Express ski north on a wide gentle slope.
The trail narrows as it bends right and descends steeply over several bridges before winding further right and flattening near the bottom.
Almost the entire run has views of Jordanelle Reservoir to the east.
There are also several private access runs to homes in Deer Crest.
Stay on the main trail.
To ski this run, one should be a strong intermediate skier.
The steep narrow parts are challenging, especially if the snow firms up overnight.
The best time to ski it is early, before the steeper parts are scraped smooth, or before it melts and turns slushy on a warm spring day.
