Description

The Cirque is comprised of two bowls separated by a ridge line.

Follow the Tensleep Traverse until is dumps you above the first bowl (Snag Tree) or continue on the single-track traverse over the ridge into a longer, steep bowl.

If you find yourself here on a powder day with minimal tracks, enjoy your time as you are about to experience one of the best runs in the world! The Cirque usually produces excellent crud skiing as well, and if it hasn’t snow for a while, it will be full of moguls.

This slope is predominately south facing, so expect the snow to heat up fast in the spring.
