Description

Skiing in the British Isles is slim pickings, so you might as well go to the biggest and the best. Ben Nevis, at 1,345m above sea level, is the pride of Scotland and the UK’s highest mountain. Located close to the town of Fort William, Ben Nevis sits at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands.

The ski area around Ben Nevis, Nevis Range, has a variety of runs from gentle beginner slopes to advanced off piste runs. The ski season officially runs from December to April, but sometimes due to mild weather spells, the snow conditions can be challenging.
