Description

The wild Cairngorms National Park in Eastern Scotland has long attracted hikers for its combination of rugged mountains and epic "big" views. The area is home to 50 Munros (mountains over 3000 feet/914 metres) and this guidebook will show you how to reach the summit of 5 of the most famous.

Ben Macdui, Cairn Gorm itself and the remote Braeriach all feature, as do the neighbouring summits of Cairn Lochain and Stob Coire an t'Sneachda. You will have only done 10% of the Cairngorm Munros by the time you work your way through these 3 hikes but you will have gained a solid understanding of the Cairngorm National Park's layout and will be firmly underway with your Munro bagging career.

Many people dedicate years of their free time to climb all 282 of the Scottish Munros so consider this guidebook the start of a possible obsession!
