A great route at the border of the Circ de Pessons. The route has a long, physical and technical approach taking in a large variety of terrain in a stunning alpine environment and landscape.
Starting at the 3rd corner of the Montmalús piste, hike north-west towards the mountain pass on the right side of Bony d'Envalira. The peak is easily recognizable because of the finish at the Circ de Pessons. Sorting out the first rolling area we will have access to the steeper and longer section of the route. The approach and the pass. Part of this section will be shared for the descent, for safety you can choose your line up and down at the same time. The last section below the pass is steep but shouldn't be a problem. Do not worry, the top part after the pass is a flat area and safe. Hike up to el Bony d'Envalira, a picture is optional after the flat area here stands Pic d'Engrait o d'en Menera, which is longer but easy to summit. The route up will take you between 3.5 and 5 hours depending on the equipment used.
The way down is easy now. Find your way down to the pass from there just keep following down on the wide beautiful slope with scattered trees until you reach the forest where it gets lightly steeper. Just at the bottom there is the itinerary for ski touring, a wide slope which will lead you to el Clot T-bar.
Moderate
Slopes become slightly steeper at around 25-30 degrees.
