There are a few approaches to this gully that can change your experience greatly. The marked entry from Gotcha quad access provides some very tight trees at a decent pitch and can require a smart crossing of a little creek. The other main approach, continuing down initiation and heading underneath the gotcha chair offers some wider lines with some good powder faces. The earlier you drop into the gully itself means more likely encountering some small cliffs and/or a waterfall. Staying high reduces these obstacles but warning as the face quickly narrows and steepens. Going too far along the ridge results in some fairly impassable cliffs depending on the snowpack. The bridge out is often very narrow yet still requires some speed to avoid too much climbing out.
