After getting out of the "Schattbergexpress" left of the "Schattberg Nord" (no. 1), go slightly uphill towards a saddle. Go straight on and then right of the ridge, crossing the slopes, without losing height and watching out for cornices. Shortly before the "Dillinger Eck" (1875m) you reach a saddle on 1850m. Turn onto the wide, treeless part, where you retract until approximately 1650m where you reach a ditch. Head into this area and to exit, head to the left. Shortly after leaving, you continue to the left until a forest road (about 1550m). Around the mountain, there is a ditch to the left. Shortly after a well-marked left turn, the forest opens up and you leave the forest road to the right (about 1470m). After a few meters, you cross a forest road again (about 1430m) and then proceed to an area that needs to be crisscrossed, as it has many tree stumps and ditches. From about 1200m, the trenches get a little deeper, this needs to be considered. You then reach a forest road at 1150m, where you come to a bend in another forest road which then leads to a crossing. Turn to the left onto the slopes and depart until approximately 1090m where you will again encounter a forest road in a bend. Follow this road to the right, towards the valley for about 500m up to a distinctive large ditch. In this ditch, slightly to the left, is a road through the woods on a flat meadow, keep to the left and follow it towards a hut. After a wide bridge over the Saalach river, you reach the parking lot. 50m further, and you will be at the bus stop no. 5 "Rauchbach".
