Pyramid Fire Road (Upper) Map

Beyond the small pond, the fire road remains groomed for both skate and classic, but becomes considerably steeper and more variable. The track mapped here is the extent of what's typically groomed, reaching a fork in the road at roughly 1640 meters. Continuing farther is possible, but should be considered backcountry terrain with all associated hazards.

Description

Advanced skiers may follow the secondary road branching right, and find a spectacular view from the edge of the Pyramid Bench. Alternatively, you could bring snowshoes to hike this extension.
