Along with Upper Mackenzie Cruise, Cop Killer is one of the most gnarly downhill rides in Pemberton. It's incredibly fast, extremely narrow, full of chunder and includes a handful of optional lines. Oh, and don't hesitate to stop and take in the views along the way!

Access the top of Cop Killer from the Mackenzie Basin FSR.

According to this source, the original trail builder was a police offer who injured himself while riding the trail.

Sections of this trail have changed over time, so be mindful of signage on the current route.

Mostly stable trail tread with some variability featuring larger and more unavoidable obstacles that may include, but not be limited to: bigger stones, roots, steps, and narrow curves. Compared to lower intermediate, technical difficulty is more advanced and grades of slopes are steeper. Ideal for upper intermediate riders.
