This is a popular ski touring route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's very remote, it features medium exposure (e2) and is typically done between January and May. From a low point of 354 m to the maximum altitude of 1.8 km, the route covers 15 km, 1655 vertical metres of ascent and 1655 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins and ice axe to complete it safely.

Description

Possibly one of the best single day ski ascents/descents on Vancouver Island (without utilizing sled access). A long fall line descent is worth the effort in stable conditions.
