This is a popular hiking route which is generally considered to be difficult. It's remote, it features low exposure and is typically done between May and September. From a low point of 127 m to the maximum altitude of 1.7 km, the route covers 277 km, 6840 vertical metres of ascent and 7336 vertical metres of descent.

Description

276km planned to walk through central France following the route of Stevenson and Modestine. I shall add more details once I have walked it. Difficult rating only because of the length of the total walk. Average day stage is about 20km
