Barbe's Fault Map

Barbe's Fault follows what looks like a geologic fault from the peak and through a lower ridge. Depending on the snowpack, a skier can then follow the drainage of Ruisseau de la Mousquere down and traverse to the Plateau d'Aoube (as shown on this route), OR exit the flats of Lac de la Lahude to skier's right and descend to the shepherds road. This road is the same road one takes to ski Ourdegon, and descends to the ski area, intersecting the road at the big switchback. More info and photos at www.couloirquest.com.
