This is a popular freeride skiing route which is generally considered to be moderate. It's not remote, it features low exposure (e1) and is typically done between December and May. From a low point of 1.8 km to the maximum altitude of 2.3 km, the route covers 2.1 km, 358 vertical metres of ascent and 486 vertical metres of descent. You'll need skins to complete it safely.

Description

This a great couloir to ski on the way to climbing and skiing something else on the north side of Caoubere. Also, there is a Gazex on the skiiers right, so avy danger is lessened here during risky conditions. More info and photos at www.couloirquest.com.
