This is a great east facing couloir in the Luz Ardiden Ski area. Take the Caperette lift up, ski east along the Badette piste, see the couloir, and skin/boot up. Sometimes this couloir is not filled in enough to ski from the top. The climber's right has another, but shorter, option to ski. More info and photos at www.couloirquest.com. Steep skiing at 38-45 degrees. This requires very good technique and the risk of falling has serious consequences.

Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
