From the Tram Midstation, there are many lines on the east face of Le Taoulet to enjoy. This one takes the skier back into La Mongie directly. If the lower elevation portion does not have enough snow, it is possible to cut out skiers right to the Sud piste. Other options from the midstation include skiing down east-northeast into the Arizes valley and out to the D918 road. From there it is possible to get a bus back to La Mongie, or perhaps to hitch-hike. More info and photos at www.couloirquest.com.

Exposure is limited to that of the slope itself. Getting hurt is still likely if the slope is steep and/or the snow is hard.
