Nakra to Mezeer - Running through the Caucasus Map

Following a section of the Transcaucasian Trail, climb up through forest single track and criss cross through ancient villages until you reach Bak Pass. The trail then crosses a ridge and heads around the east side of Mt. Detsili (2577m) before the final descent into Becho Valley. Let go on the flowy single trail through lush forest, teased with glimpses through the undergrowth of the incredible mountain views that are waiting for you when you pop out onto the road near the village of Mazeer.

Description

This can be a long and hot day with plenty of vertical metres and technical trail. There are water points along the way but ensure you take enough food for an entire day out. If you can time it to finish the last climb and start the descent just before sunset, you might just be blessed with a breathtaking light show over the surrounding peaks.
