L'itinerario, pur rimanendo sotto i 2000 mt, è molto panoramico, permettendo di vedere la Majella, il Gran Sasso e il mare. Il Monte Mileto è la terza cima del Morrone.

Il sentiero inizia dietro la struttura principale di Passo San Leonardo, e per la prima parte si sviluppa nel bosco. Successivamente, usciti dal bosco, la pendenza aumenta. In caso di neve ghiacciata è indispensabile salire in sicurezza con piccozza e rampone, sebbene in prossimità della vetta la pendenza diminuisce notevolmente.

Giunti in vetta si ritorna indietro nello stesso percorso, sebbene il sentiero permette di raggiungere altre vette del Morrone.

Questa traccia termina prima della vetta a causa del ghiaccio e per non aver portato ramponi e piccozza.

The itinerary, is below 2000 meters, but it is very scenic, allowing you to see the Majella, the Gran Sasso and the sea. Monte Mileto is the third peak of the Morrone.

Starting from the San Leonardo pass, the path begins behind the structure which for the first part develops in the woods. Subsequently, out of the woods the slope increases. In the event of icy snow it is essential to climb safely with an ice ax and crampon, although near the summit the slope decreases considerably.

Once you reach the top, you go back along the same path, although the path allows you to reach other peaks of the Morrone.
