This is a popular alpine climbing route which is generally considered to be extreme. It's extremely remote, it features extreme exposure and is typically done between January and February. From a low point of 1.8 km to the maximum altitude of 3.1 km, the route covers 13 km, 953 vertical metres of ascent and 1682 vertical metres of descent. You'll need bivy kit, crampons and 2 ice axes to complete it safely.
