La Massacre Map

“La Massacre” takes inspiration from “THRASHIN”, the iconic movie from the late 80’s where the main character Cory Webster takes part in a crazy downhill skateboard race against skaters from all over the USA, called precisely L.A. MASSACREThis event is not a downhill race, neither a Gravel ride or a Randonnée, and for sure it’s not an easy ride. The 200km / 4000m d+ route face different surfaces: asphalt backroads, gravel roads, hiking paths and singletracks. It’s a mix of smooth climbs and extremely steep 30% grade walls, easy downhills and very technical mtb downhills. At some point, going up or down, you’ll have to get off your bike and push it, but it depends mostly on your skills and legs. You are probably interested to know which bike, tires or gears fit better for “La Massacre”, right? Actually there is no answer, every set up you’ll choose could advantage or disadvantage you depending of the route section. The choice is up to you, just don’t bring your road bike.
