Monte Rosa, 4634m Map

Begin with one of the highest and most exposed 4000m traverses in the Alps, and if you still have energy try and do the rest! Lyskamm has a reputation for cornices so stay well away from the ridge crest unless you are certain it is safe. You can stock up with food and water in the Margherita Hut on Signalkuppe

Description

Detailed directions not included as anyone with the skills and fitness to undertake this will predominantly use their own judgement for each section. The peak order is Lyskamm W, Lyskamm E, Signalkuppe, Zumsteinspitze, Parrotspitze, Ludwigshohe, Corno Nero, Pyramid Vincent and down to the Gnifetti Hut. This exact outing was done by Liv Sansoz and Colin Haley as part of her 4000m peak challenge in March 2017. https://livsansoz.net/
