Kronfjell Map

Kronfjell is located close to ski resorts such as Gautefall and Vrådal, and is therefore a good choice for randonee skiers while the family is at the resort.

Description

You choose where you go up and down. If you like a little adventure, the marked first accent is the best way to skin to the top, while it is possible to skin up where you ski down if you want to be quick. It is possible to choose the lines according to which level of difficulty you want, and on a good day three times at the top is achievable.

Due to the good snow back, it is possible for teenagers to ride a scooter to Kronfjell when the roads are clear of ice and the spring snow is still good. Short video about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dq02ErEBVlM&t=229s

Also possible to go to the "real" peak, but this does not contribute to better skiing, just a longer trip further in the mountains. On a good day the sea of skagerakk is possible to spot from the top of the mountain.
